Who We Are
The Upper Midwest Pension Rights Project (UMPRP) is one of six regional pension counseling projects funding by the U.S. Administration on Aging to provide free legal counseling services to individuals in the five state region of Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa, North Dakota and South Dakota.
The UMPRP is a joint effort of the Metropolitan Area Agency on Aging (in MN) and Iowa Legal Aid.
Who can we help?
The Upper Midwest Pension Rights Project (UMPRP) can help clients regardless of age or income.
We can help with pension claims of any amount and from any employer.
The UMPRP’s only requirement is that the individual or the former employee either lives, formerly worked or their benefit is administered in our five state region.
